Andrew Richardson has a secret weakness (he is from California but we forgive him…), actually snow and he can’t get enough of it. Unable to resist the snowy mountains, Andrew abandoned a city job to pursue a career in the wild. in the early 2000s. He began his journey into the mysteries of backcountry skiing. Wonder quickly grew into obsession, taking Andre down the path of the Snow Professional. A lifelong learner himself, he loves teaching others how to be safe in the mountains. He’s motivated to help people turn mystery to understanding and reach their goals through avalanche education, backcountry touring and ski mountaineering. He is working towards AMGA ski guide certification and holds a master’s degree in education. Andrew is an AIARE instructor.
